👀 What To Expect 

Meet your guide at the corner of Market Street and North 2nd Street in the heart of Old City. From there, your small group will visit four bars and taverns located within a few blocks of one another.

At each stop, your guide will share a different chapter of Philadelphia’s hidden colonial and Revolutionary history, from the role alcohol played in the American Revolution to the scandals, schemes and surprising stories left out of traditional history tours.

You will have time to purchase and enjoy a drink at each stop, although buying a drink is never required. Your guide can recommend local beer, cider, cocktails and nonalcoholic options.

The exact bars can change based on availability, but the tour always remains in historic Old City and finishes within three blocks of the meeting point.
